  • The Diver dives into Mujtam3’s posts every day and picks the finest, and his pearls reach you at the top of Home as they come
  • “Mujtam3 Picks”: a page that collects every pearl day by day, also shown in “Discover” with a “From Mujtam3 Picks” label
  • Follow the Diver’s account to get the best of the best in your feed and his stories
  • Every card carries the post’s category in its colour

😄 Stickers

  • 200 stickers featuring the “Mujtam3 Team” characters in 15 packs: love and gratitude, greetings and celebration, treasures and memories, and more
  • A sticker panel in place of the keyboard, with “Recent”, “Favourites” and search by feeling
  • In messages, comments and audio rooms: in a room the sticker jumps out of your photo, or flies to the speaker you choose

💬 Easier, nicer writing

  • A new message composer: “like” in one tap, and the tools step aside while you type to give you more room
  • One “+” menu for every attachment: file, voice, location, poll, verse of poetry, GIF, contact, quick replies, and scheduled message
  • The box starts at one line and grows up to five
  • No duplicate messages, even on a weak connection
  • A message notification shows its full text when you long-press it

🗨️ Comments

  • Sort comments: everyone, people I follow, not interacted with yet, and newest or most engaging
  • “Who can comment”: everyone, my followers, people I mention, or comments off, and block specific people

🤝 Smarter follow suggestions

  • Smarter story order: the people you interact with most come first, and stories you’ve watched move to the back with a faded ring

👥 Groups

🚀 Stronger infrastructure: a faster, sturdier Mujtam3

Behind the scenes we rebuilt large parts of our servers so they keep up with Mujtam3’s growth and stay fast at peak times:

  • Servers that work as a team: heavy tasks (drawing boards and share cards, video, sending email and notifications) now run on separate worker servers with organised queues, so the app stays fast however busy it gets
  • Ready to scale: several copies of the server can now run together and share visitors between them without interruption
  • A faster feed: a smart cache makes Home, Discover and Trending load much faster
  • Direct uploads of photos, audio and large files to cloud storage, with photos compressed on your device before upload, so uploads are faster and use less data
  • A sturdier live connection: messages, notifications and rooms stay connected and recover by themselves after a network drop, with lighter presence updates for your device and battery
  • Clearer, lighter sound in rooms and broadcasts: new audio settings use less internet while keeping voices clear
  • A global protection and delivery network for mujtam3.com, for faster access from every country
  • Round-the-clock performance monitoring that catches any slowness before you notice it
  • A thorough security review that closed dozens of potential vulnerabilities, with new protection against bots at sign-up and sign-in

🎙️ Audio rooms: a whole new experience
